Another designer to look at is Katya Katya. This label lets you add coloured underskirts that give your look a really individual twist and the fluid designs are perfect for a rustic wedding. If you’ve chosen a barn wedding because you love the countryside and the environment, do take a look at wedding dresses by Sanyukta Shrestha. We also have to mention the high street because John Lewis and Debenhams both have a superb range of wedding dresses. John Lewis features designers such as Phase Eight and French Connection. The Phase Eight collection features a number of shorter dresses that are so perfect for relaxed rustic brides whilst the French Connection range boasts some truly beautiful maxi dresses, including one with super romantic full sleeves.
If you’re marrying in the autumn or winter, you might like to consider a wedding dress with sleeves. There are so many amazing gowns with sleeves in designer collections at the moment and lace sleeves really are so flattering. Bridal separates are also ideal for the cooler months. You can mix and match your look and or even team a super-soft knit with your dream skirt.

Veils come in all lengths and can be plain or embellished. Your bridal boutique will definitely have some for you to try on or you can browse online – designers such as Britten can even send you fabric samples.

Flower crowns are so popular with rustic brides and with good reason. These glorious accessories are all utterly unique and bring stacks of seasonal style to your look. Your florist can match your crown to your bouquet or you could opt for a foliage-only crown for an alternative take on the traditional floral look. Nothing says ‘countryside’ quite like flowers.
