Making Clock Barn Covid-Safe

We have taken plenty of steps to ensure that Clock Barn is a safe environment for everyone who attends our venue. Here are some of the measures that we have put in place.

• A full and thorough risk assessment and extra measures to make the venue Covid-safe
• Additional training for all our staff
• Changes to our service to continue to deliver incredible events that adhere to the government guidelines
• Additional handwashing and sanitising facilities
• Helpful signage throughout the venue
• Extra cleaning
• Fully supporting test and trace

Weddings up to the end of April 2021

We understand that all of you have concerns about the impact of COVID-19 on your upcoming wedding. The latest lockdown means that no ceremonies or receptions can currently take place and the government has indicated that the measures may remain in place until the end of March. There are currently no indications from government that the measures will last beyond this. However, if your wedding is due to take place before the end of April 2021, you may choose from our postponement options.

We are aiming to contact all our couples 12 weeks in advance of the wedding date. We ask for a little patience if we haven’t contacted you just yet. It’s a very busy time for us and we are making every effort to help all our couples.

If you have an urgent query, the best way to get in touch with us is by emailing team@clockbarncatering.co.uk with your name and wedding date in the subject line. We aim to get back to you within five working days.

Wedding planning

We are currently working with a reduced events team and our immediate focus is to work with our couples whose weddings are taking place over the next few months to ensure that we can continue to provide fabulous small events and respond to the changing rules and guidelines.

If your wedding is taking place before the end of April 2021 and you are thinking of going ahead, we will try our hardest to answer any questions you have about your wedding planning. The best way to speak to us is to email the team and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

If your wedding is taking place after the end of April 2021, there are currently no indications from government that the restrictions will last beyond March 2021. We will of course inform you if anything changes that may affect your wedding date, but for now we suggest you continue with your wedding planning and if you have any questions along the way, feel free to email our events team. As we’ve mentioned, it is a very busy time for us, but we’ll get back to you as soon as we can to help.

Information for suppliers

The venue is currently closed but we ask that any suppliers due to visit the venue after the current lockdown has ended have carried out their own Covid-safe risk assessment and are aware of the measures we have put in place. If in doubt, please contact team@clockbarncatering.co.uk for further advice.

For those of you who are considering Clock Barn as your wedding venue:

Although we aren’t able to show you around in person under the current restrictions, we would love to give you a personal, virtual show round. A member of our team will take you on a video tour of the venue to show everything we have to offer, and answer all your questions.

Reserve your ideal wedding date without commitment during lockdown. If you have been unable to visit us in person, the initial payments to book your date will be fully refundable for up to 14 days after restrictions on show rounds are lifted, giving you time to visit us first.
